Fun At the 4th Annual Music & Arts
The 4th Annual Music and Arts Festival held in the beautiful Wolf Creek Pineview Lodge was a huge success.  Participants raved about the art, musical and dance performances.  Gary Kelso and Frosty McWilliams of Shades of Grey entertained with their great mixes of modern, bluegrass and acoustic country music.  At times during their performance, having just met Jeff Whitely of Lark & Spur, the three had great fun playing and singing together. 4th_annual_music_and_arts_festival_flyer.jpg

Deja Mitchell of Valley Dance Ensemble never fails to deliver.  Deja coordinated numerous dancers and artists from Northern Utah.  The crowd was delighted by the movement and creativity that the dancers brought to the Festival, children participated, belly dancers bared swords and a mother and her three daughters performed an African dance. The energy was intense and the crowd joined in at the end in an "African Conga" line.

The Wilkerson Fine Art & Consulting Artists' Reception was a great success.  There were many pieces of exceptional art and a dozen or more artists were able to join the festivities. The art exhibit included pottery, jewelry, pastels, oils, and watercolors of figurative, still lifes, abstracts and landscape art.  Kris Wilkerson stated she "was very pleased with the turnout and interaction between the artists and attendees."  The exhibit continues to be on display at The Gallery at Wolf Creek through March 14th, 2008.

Accompanying the Artists' Reception were Danielle Vaughn and Tim Daniels. Danielle is a soulful singer, songwriter, and performer who captivate her audiences. Her fans say: "When you hear Danielle sing, you will be transported to new heights as she puts her heart and soul into each lyric of every song."  Tim Daniels, also known as "The Singing Cowboy" began performing at the age of 8, playing in his grandfather's band.  He wrote his first song when he was 12. Tim has many passions and draws from a diverse life experience to create a unique style.

Lark & Spur closed out the evening with Celtic music and Brazilian Jazz. This quartet offered truly remarkable performances involving two acoustic guitars, mandolin, base and three voices.  Lark & Spur have been featured globally via performances in France and Switzerland and have made numerous appearances on Radio and TV.  The group was the perfect finish to the evening as well as the viewing of the annual and spectacular, Torch Light Parade at Wolf Mountain.
