John Sisko - is a realist sculptor who hails from Seattle, Washington. His degree is in philosophy from the University of Washington. His deeper understanding of human thought is echoed in the plaintive expressions that adorn the faces of his sculpture. Sisko's style is impressive. He is especially adept with the anatomy of the human body and in presenting sculptures with movement. In building up his models, he uses long strips of clay in a fluid motion that play up muscularity and body cavities, to reflect light and cast shadows. The hands and feet are often articulated in an exaggerated manner to add extra presence and power to his figures. Sisko's sculptures have been acquired for corporate and private collections alike. He is also represented in San Francisco, Santa Fe, Seattle, and Hong Kong. Sizes of his work range from full figures to small heads and small animal figures. Prices range from $1,000 to 15,000. He is also available for site-specific commissions.
