She wants her art to tell a story and to stir emotions inside that remind each of us of the joy and innocence of our children and what is good in this world. Cooley is a successful watercolorist with a solid track record of production and sales.

I believe children symbolize all that is good in the world, and in us. I want my art to be a reminder of our greatest hope for a bright future, our children.

Artist Judy Cooley lives in Layton, Utah with her Husband, Erik and their four children. Her family members have always been her biggest fans and support. Like any other mother, her days are full of laundry, dishes, church assignments, exercise, and cheering at soccer games, etc. She tries to squeeze time to paint into her days. She says, "Life is perfect when I'm either camping or playing outdoors, and then painting it!" And sure enough, that is where you will find her. She always has a camera with her so she doesn't miss anything that might just be a great painting in the making. Art is a part of her everyday life, because she paints what she lives. Her new found love is illustrating and writing children's books. Like most mothers, she's a children's book junkie. Judy was thrilled to have her first children's book published in 2005 with by Shadow Mountain Publishing. She says, “Book Number 2 will be out Mother's Day, 2007! You'll like it. It too has a happy ending!” Cooley is a successful artist with a solid track record of production and sales.
